Getting ready to get a stick blender for my DD. I used Cuisinart stick blender in the past with not much luck. Can you recommend something that worked for you or something to stay away from.
We went through 4 Cuisinart Smart Stick blenders (those that just come with a plastic cup). All 4 had the same problem---after a while of using these plastic above the blade attachment melted to the shaft of the unit, transforming it into a piece of useless junk.
I am now looking to just get ONE quality appliance. We used it quite a bit (about twice a day), as we make our own baby food.
