Where to find Gymboree type play toys?

DD and I went to a free Gymboree class today and she loved all the different type of toys they had to play with....especially the rubber balls with the bell/chimes inside and the nubby balls....
I asked if they sold any of them and the receptionist told me she had to idea where they got them from...

Has anyone seen these types of balls to buy somewhere? I can't really afford the $60/month classes, but I would love for DD to have some different tactile and musical toys to play with.

Lakeshore Learning has most of things I have seen at the Gymbo class we went to.

I got the nubby balls from Discount School Supplies. If there's another Gymboree Play and Music near you, they might sell some of the stuff the use in class. The Gymboree Play and Music DS went to when he was younger sold toys, balls and various items that they used in class.

Yeah, they sold almost everything they used in class except these balls!! And DD loved these balls...they were the perfect size for her to pick up and "throw"

At your DD's age, DS' class used the wiffle softball type ball. The wiffle type balls are at Target(i assume other stores too) in the sporting goods section.
The gymbo that DS attends sells the nubby balls. I haven't seen balls with chimes in them.
Personally, I like the O balls best. Easy to grasp and when she is bigger she can slam down or throw without hurting anyone.

Lakeshore Learning definitely has the nubby balls in-store (not sure about on-line).
