Does anyone have these wood blocks made by Roy Toy?

DS (4.5) plays with his Lincoln Logs, Keva Planks and Legos every day. I am looking to get something similar to Lincoln Logs for my mom's house. DS's friend has the Roy Toy fort set and DS said that he would like this. But, it doesn't look too flexible in terms of what you can build...
Any input would be great.
