Prenatal Sore Breasts

I posted this in the Lounge but it went off the main page pretty fast so I guess this is the next best place to ask.

I'm posting for my sister who is due on August 22. Her breasts are getting much larger than mine ever did (I delivered May 14). Today her breasts and nipples are very hard. She managed to hand express one breast and that helped her pain but the other breast isn't expressing and she's having shooting pains in the nipple. Any advice to get her through her the next 2 months?

She needs to call her OB. I haven't heard of this before while pg, but even if someone has, her doctor is the best person to discuss this with. If she is truly miserable, she should call today vs. waiting until the office opens tomorrow. Just one reason why dr's get the big bucks!
