I have the microwave steam bags for sterilizing pump parts, but I am nervous about it. Isn't it bad to microwave plastic? Even the bags themselves can be used a finite amount of times, which doesn't help my confidence about this issue. Boiling doesn't make me feel much better either - again I thought plastics and extreme heat were a bad combo. Is it only BPA that leaks with heat, so if BPA-free it is ok to heat sterilize plastic?
