I just found out that my aunt's husband recently passed away. I have not spoken to my aunt in years as my father and I were estranged since I was a young teenager and only recently began speaking. We were, however, very close when I was a child. They have planned a memorial service in two weeks and I would like to send something more personal than flowers.

Is this appropriate in this situation or too much?

If it is inappropriate, any suggestions that would include her and my two adult cousins (1 male, 1 female)?

TIA!

Even if it's not her personal style, I think she will be touched by the thought. I think it's a very nice idea.
