I have the bathtub from my first dd (I think it is the safety first one - its blue/green and has the infant hamock) and it is now 2 years old. It has been stored in our basement for probably at least 15 months and baby #2 is on the way.

How would you clean it? I want it to be really clean, but wouldnt' want any harsh residue remaining. Should I just get a new one?

Thanks for the tips!

I'd scrub it with a paste made of baking soda and liquid soap (Dr. Bronners). Then rinse well.

Yep! If it is musty look for a liquid castille soap with a bit of essential oil in it maybe. You could also add a few drops of lavender essential oil to the mix too...but if it isn't musty/stinky, I wouldn't worry about that part.
