I just got one for $162, after searching for a few weeks. It is a good deal!

i've recently seen the appeal of the learning tower as my 18 month old LOVES to be at the counter with me whenever i'm doing ANYTHING...she's too heavy to hold constantly (even at a petite 21 pounds) and she's too adventurous to just stand nicely on a normal chair. *sigh*

a friend suggested the wooden ikea stepstool, so i picked that up today.. . 20 dollars vs. 200. (or even 150). we'll see. i'll probably still be in the market for one of these :) but at least we can use the stepstool in lu's bathroom.

This is essentially a piece of furniture which you'll get 3-4 years of use out of.... then can sell on Craigslist for $80. Go for it.
