This deal was so great - i'm breaking off the other thread! Couldn't believe the price - and my store (Exton, PA) had 3 more! It's called the Cook n Learn Interactive Kitchen and i think retailed for $129. If you use the coupon in the other kmart thread - it should be even less! This is my 3rd trip to Kmart - - i'm NOT going back!!!

Wow! Was it marked or unmarked? Could you describe the box (color/size/anything else)? I'm willing to go back for trip number 4 to look for that, but my store is suck a disaster who knows if it's there or not.
Thanks for the head's up.

is there a special clearance/endcap section like at target? or just mixed into their toys?

In our store it was high on the TOP of the shelves. I actually had to get someone to get it down for me, but it WAS marked $32 with a yellow tag - and he even scanned it to show it would come up 50% off. Pretty big Little Tykes yellow box - wouldn't fit in a shopping cart so i balanced it on top.

This is the same one:

In our store the stuff was spread all over, but as I was shopping an employee was pulling all the clearance toys to put them on a separate section of racks. I think they're making room for Christmas already!

Ya'll know a lot of times when you call the employees will see the great price and save them for themselves. Not to say you should never call, but if it's close to you, it's better to check in person. This is especially true of Kmart, where the kitchen may be on the shelf, with no clearance tag. The employee might hunt it down and see it is only $16 and put it aside to save.

The folks on slickdeals will murder you for doing this (part of why I am strictly a SD lurker).

Deleted because I didn't like the way my reply sounded. I didn't mean for it to sound snippy! :)

Just got one! Also a Radio Flyer Turtle ride-on, regular price $52.XX. Got it for $19.XX. Whoo-hoo! Thanks OP.

FWIW, the box was way up on a shelf, unmarked and pretty beaten up. We're putting it together tonight to make sure everything is there. . . .

Thanks so much for the post. DD and I made the trip to KMart and scored a the kitchen for $17, an anniversary cabbage patch doll for $9, Barbie with horse for $9, cow flashlight for a $1, and a yathzee game for $5. Probably could have found more, but she was a little fussy. I too had to ask someone to get the kitchen down for me.

I know. ;) I usually don't call a store because I need to see with my own 2 eyes to believe that an item is or isn't available. K-Mart was too much of a haul today with DD to just get up and go. I did go by myself tonight to "see and believe". They did not have the kitchen, but I did find some Little People for DD! :)

... did not have that much. There was a clearance area in front of the toy isles and nothing great was stacked there. I went down each isle and occasionally you would see a price sticker (the one on the shelf, not the toy itself) that was marked clearance. Most tags have the price in the middle, the clearance tags have NOW on the left and the new price on the right. I did luck out with board games. I got Monopoly, the Pixar version for $11, Sequence for Kids $4.50 and Disney Dominos for $1.25.

Does anyone know what the Westwood, NJ store has in stock?

I tried the Paramus, NJ store and there was NOTHING on sale. The kitchen was 46.

If anyone's been to the K-Mart in West Orange, NJ, I'd be grateful to know if anything there has been marked down, too...

Let me ask this question - did any of the NJ stores have these specials?

To see if your store has 50% off clearance - go to the online kmart ad for your area and look for a yellow banner across the bottom of a middle page that says extra 50% off clearance.

I checked 2 stores in Pittsburgh - McIntyre and Westview - both had a ton of stuff including the cozy coupes (Westview had at least 3) but no kitchens sadly.

I got a leapster, a TAG system with 2 books for 8.50, playmobil, megablox that connects with lego, pet shop, etc.

Anyone else in western pa see a kitchen? Eastern Ohio even? I'd drive for it.

I stopped by Woodbridge (well, Avenel) this morning. There was one aisle of clearance toys, and nothing good. I checked the other aisles carefully, and although there were one or two clearance items in there (also nothing good), I didn't see any of the great finds others have posted.

Feasterville PA Big Kmart was 50% off this morning, got 250 worth for 92, got a leapster for 19, but don't need it so if I can find someone who wants that, I'll be selling it or returning it. Got two Barbie with pony and stable sets for 9 each, normally 25 or 30 each, two barbie styling heads for 6 each (18), two chou chou baby sets for 6 each (25), some polly pocket car set, big set for 5, (41), backyardigans leapster game $11 ($29), two pirate playmobil $5 (12 and 16 normally). Still lots of stuff there. I'll use as gifts and some for my kids.

Lot of stuff was tagged clearance in the aisles and then scanned at 50% off the tag price, no kitchens or cozy coupes were tagged clearance at this one.

Hi all! I posted on the other thread, but figured I better ask on this one too since it's the kitchen thread! Does anyone have the kitchen UPC they could post? (Or the Tag Gift Set) My dad is a store manager and can look to see if there's any in my area. TIA!

I went today and picked up 4 toys for 30 dollars, not a whole lot on clearance here at our K-Mart! Didn't find the kitchen!
I tried to use the coupon but it is expired! I didn't even look when I printed it out. Bummer....

My store didn't have anything exciting. :( They had MLP stuff but no LPS or good Playmobil.

My favorite find (Exton, PA) was a 50 pack of playdoh (1 oz containers) for $5.50! :) Great for party favors or something like that.

I went to our nearest Kmart (1 1/2hr away) today. Didn't find anything exciting.
I came home with curtains that were on sale for $3 for our business.

OK, just called a Kmart that said they had one that was clearanced for $97, the price on the box. I asked if that's what it scanned at and she said their computers were down. Anyway, wondering if anyone knows if that's the one that comes down to $16? I'd hate to send DH out of his way if it's not really on sale. TIA!
