I can't believe Mason is EIGHT! He is such a bright, funny, witty, sweet little guy. Just beautiful inside and out! He makes me proud each and every day. Happy birthday to my beautiful boy! WOW ... I feel like I blinked and my baby is a big dude!

Mason is still a cuddle bug and I am trying to enjoy all this closeness cause I know we are right around the corner where he'll be embarrassed to hang out with his parents and won't want me to kiss and hug him! Why do they have to grow up?

It's really crazy isn't it! I have friends with teenage kids and can't even imagine it with my boys but I know it's right around the corner! YIKES!

Aw, Happy Birthday, Mason!! Happy day to you as well!!

My little guy turned 7 recently and I am in denial that he is so old. I am hugging and cuddling with him even more now than ever before because I know it wo't last. Drat...I'm getting misty eyed now.

It does go oh so fast. My son Nicholas is going to turn 9 on Monday. Wow! It makes me feel old.

Makes me feel old too! We were one of the first of all our friends to have babies.... and we were young (by LA standards) ... not feeling so young anymore! :)

Happy Birthday! My 8 year old DS is a total cuddly boy. But NO WAY he will let me hug him or kiss him when his friends are around. Good thing I have a little baby who lets me cuddle him all day! Hey, Tondi, maybe you should...:tongue5:

Isn't 8 a great age? I am loving my 8yo ds these days. He is still very affectionate and loving and tells me he loves me even in front of his friends. Each day as he got on the bus during the school year, he'd say it to me and some of the moms would be so shocked.
