Outdoor playhouse or swingset???

DS is 17 months old and I'm thinking about buying him an outdoor playhouse or a swingset. Do you think one will get more play than the other? I'm looking at this (http://www.littletikes.com/toys/endless-adventures-tikes-town-playhouse.aspx) playhouse or this swing set (http://www.step2.com/product.cfm?product_id=1335) - maybe - but the then the swing set wouldn't be until next year. Any thoughts???

We have both (not exact ones you're looking at, but a plastic Little Tikes swingset) and I'd say it gets MUCH more use than the playhouse does. You could probably pick up a used playhouse on craigslist...I see them there all the time if you wanted to go with the swingset.

Of those choices I would pick the swingset. It has a playhouse of sorts there and lots of other activities (slide, swing, climbing high onto platform).

Another vote for a swing set rather than a playhouse. For longevity, I would also consider a full size swingset rather than a smaller plastic one. DS and DD1 have used our swingset nearly daily since age 1.
