hi all,

I need something super comfortable. Something in the office on casual days would be nice, but not the first priority. just something COMFY! some options I'm eyeing:

I can't see the photo of the J-41's, which I tend to like, but I like the first Lands End one and the second Privo one.

Out of the ones you listed, I like these the best:

Land's End Z-Strap Terrain
Privo Luca

These may not be quite sporty enough, but what about the Plaza Flaunt, Plaza Bandeau or Spire Emme from Merrell? Their Cruz MJ might be a good option, too.

I've worn Merrell's for years and love them! The arch support is great and they're super comfortable. They last quite a long time, too.

Out of the ones you posted, I like the second Privo one as well. I tried on similar Lands End shoes and didn't find them comfortable at all.

I have and love these (but in a pewter color):

So so comfortable! And they stay on my hard-to-fit foot, while most closed-back shoes flap right off. They run TTS in case you are interested.

I also have these, not quite as comfy but still very good:

These are dressy enough to wear to work IMO. They would even work with a skirt, because they don't look too much like sneakers (but they feel like them!). They are TTS also.

ooh thanks for these recs! that nike one is a great deal!!

i never know how to size in these. i wear 7 in most flats and dress shoes, sometimes 7.5. But I wear a size 8 in running shoes. Is it best to wear these typs of shoes like ballet flats, or with more toe room like running shoes?

I am usually an 8.5 in most shoes, sometimes an 8. In sneakers I would probably be a 9, but its been a long time. The 8.5 fit me perfectly, the 8 was too tight. I would probably get your regular size, because you don't want them to be falling off, and I doubt you will be wearing big socks with them!;)

I have a pair of J-41 Dune (closed toe sandals, not a mary jane) that I love. Very comfy and I can wear with anything. I did pick the larger of the two sizes I am between and had to break in some of the straps, but I really like the shoes!

I have the black.

For comfort, I think it's hard to beat Privos. Have you seen the Acacia's?

http://www.amazon.com/Privo-Womens-Acacia-Flat-Stone/dp/B000WI0H30/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=shoes&qid=1247166916&sr=1-3

I have these:

They aren't a MJ, but they I loooove them. :) I get so many compliments on them, and they go with almost anything.

I LOVE Privos - you really can't go wrong with them in terms of comfort, and I think the styles are really cute! I also love Merrells. I, too, have tried on the Lands' End ones that have that Privo-ish look, but I also found them to be uncomfortable (stiff and inflexible). Do you have a Clarks store near you?

I love Ahnu brand, model Benecia, I have them in three colors and that's my go-to casual shoe. Unlike other similar shoes I've tried, your feet don't get sweaty if you wear them w/out socks.

I have two styles of Merrell MJ's too--those are dressy enough for work.
