Pyrex score!

DH was on shutdown for a couple of weeks and I got to hit garage sales alone! Friday, I scored on Pyrex. I got a bowls that are: 1 cup, 2 cup, 1 qt., 2.5 qt., a covered 4 qt. And, a 8x8 covered dish and a 9x13 covered dish. All for a whopping $5! I can't believe the deal. The best is the little bowl because it matches 4 we already have. We make pudding in those and now we have 5 of them :).

I've been looking for a pyrex deal so we can store all our leftovers in it, rather than the cheapo plastic stuff. No luck here either on sales!

I am jealous. I am sick to my stomach how much Pyrex my Mom and/or I have tossed/shared/donated over the years. My Dad worked for Corning and it was coming out our ears for year.

Now I am an addict when I go to the outlet. I'll stop at the Rehobath one this weekend. Last time I took all my bottoms that the tops broke or were missing over the years. Right now I am even re: Pyrex tops and bottoms.

I did score on DH having his Grandmother's Pyrex, that makes up for some loss.
