What would you dress your infant daughter in for a wedding?

If it was your sister's wedding, what would you put your 3 month old daughter in? I have a white Carter's cotton eyelet dress bought after an Easter sale but now I am thinking it will not be fancy enough? Your thoughts? Wedding is next weekend and I am having second thoughts. The rest of the family is in the bridal party and will be dressed formally.

Your eyelet dress should be comfy and adorable. If it's a nice cotton--which if it's from Carter's I'm assuming it is--will be nice and soft up against her skin. It's dressy enough IMO, plus it should be comfy. Comfy, cute babies tend to make less noise during ceremonies than the ones shoved into the fancy tulle scratchy dresses!:wink2:

That sounds nice. There's no need to dress up a little baby any more than that. Anything more formal outfit might even look costumey.

Also have a cute Hanna eyelet white sunhat and matching eyelet crib shoes from Janie & Jack to match.

DH and I were in his brother's wedding when DD was 4 months old....I had her in a similar type dress that I bought at an after Easter sale...bare feel too...possibly some cute, fancy socks in case it gets cold.....I also had a cute little sweater because the both the ceremony and reception were inside and I wasn't sure if she would get cold or not.......luckily she slept through almost all of it!!
