Ladies,
I am woefully behind on estate planning and am wondering if I should put my house in the family trust. Doing so will help avoid probate, but I think in MA, there may be issues selling the house and/or it may make the homestead invalid? Help me with this legal stuff!

I can't answer definitively because I'm not licensed in MA, but generally speaking having all of your assets in a revocable living trust will allow the assets to pass to your heirs without probate court involvement. In NV, having your house in a trust won't affect homestead protection. If you want to PM me, I can help you find a good attorney in your area.
