We are getting to re-locate across the country - when the baby is about 9-12 weeks old. I am not sure if it is worth it to purchase a Glider/Ottoman now and have to add that to the STUFF to pack in the truck. Is this something I need immediately or could I wait to buy it once I move to the new location?

First time Mother.
Thanks!

I used mine immediately. I'd get it as quickly as possible.

Another vote for used it every few hours as soon as we came home from the hospital. Can't imagine life without a glider/ottoman.

esp. the first few months when you're feeding them and trying to get them back to sleep at 12, 3, 6 am.

Yeah I have to agree it is most helpful at the get-go. It's so nice to have a comfy place to sit when you get home from the hospital, whether nursing, bottle feeding, pumping.

I agree it's a must have. You could always get a used one off craigslist and then sell it or give it to good will before you leave.
