Question about high chair feature

I am shopping for a high chair and have been considering the chicco polly or the graco 4 in 1. However, it seems that both of these have the safety bar (not sure what the correct term is) attached to the tray rather than the seat. I'm wondering what the pros and cons of this might be. Any feedback? Thanks!

I have the Chicco Polly. I like the fact that my toddler can climb in and out of it, which would be harder if the safety "bar" were in the seat.

I have a graco with the safety bar attached to the seat. I think it's great for my younger baby. Keeps him from sliding. Although with the five point harness it's really more a back up system.

I love love love my Fisher Price Healthy Care high chair which has the safety between the legs attached to the seat. My 18 month old is able to climb into it by herself and has been doing so for a couple of months. We've been very happy with the functionality of this seat and how it fits our DDs.
