I have a Gulliver crib, and a Naturepedic mattress. We just assembled it today and dropped in the mattress to check the fit. It fits snugly on the long sides, but on the ends, I can get two fingers between crib and slats (I have small hands), but my husband has to kind of compress the mattress to get his two fingers in. That said, it's definitely more of a gap than just one average adult finger.
Do you think the mattress is too small, or is this normal? We walked around Babys R Us and looked at mattresses in cribs, and some fit better than ours, and some worse. So, the question is, how tight is your mattress in your crib?
