Any experience with inexpensive home laminators?

BJs has one for about $30- I think it's made by 3M. It would come in handy for some of DS's stuff. Do they work reasonably well?

Yes! Just got a cheapo one and really like it.

Scotch brand, under $30, and the laminating pocket things are pretty reasonable...$12-13 for 50?

eta: this particular one got good reviews on some of the homeschooling message boards I read.

i bought one at staples.com a couple years ago for about $50. we love it. the pouches are super thick. i reordered them on ebay for a great price.
