I have a Sony babyCall. I love this monitor. It doesn't get any interference from our neighbors, I can sleep really well knowing that I can hear my baby if he needs me.
However, I have a lot of problems when my iPhone is nearby. I think that once in a while the phone needs to send some signal to AT&T, and when that happens it interferes with the Sony babyCall. There is this huge noise that comes from the baby monitor! So, I can't leave my phone near the baby monitor.
Since I'm using my iPhone all the time (I used to track baby feedings, sleep, etc), it's really hard not to have the phone and the baby monitor close to each other. At night, when I go to bed, I put both of them in my nightstand, and I need to turn off the "cell phone feature" of the iPhone (put in airport mode) to put it near the baby monitor.
Anybody else has this problem? Did you find a solution?
I'm thinking of buying a monitor with DECT technology, but it seems that neither the Avent nor the Safety First High Def have 2 parent units. Anybody has one of these monitor and an iPhone, and can give me some feedback?
