Hi,

With DS I had some great cloth wipes that I used as washclothes. They are actually still in use as kitchen rags and they were soooo useful and held up soooo well. So I'm looking for some for this time around. I think I bought from Darling Diapers last time (this was years and years ago so my memory could be all wrong). But it looks like that site is now just diaper patterns.

So any suggestions for really good, preferably WAHM, wipes?

Thanks,
Catherine

Not from a WAHM, but I absolutely love the Thirsties Fab wipes.

We always get ours from Small Wonders Wipes. She sells through Hyena Cart now, I think.

We use the Velour/Sherpa wipes and her burp cloths are great too. I often buy the burp cloths for shower gifts. (We call them our "dressy" burp cloths.) I've used the first batch of wipes we bought for close to 4 years and they're still going strong. I just bought another batch to use for DS. I got the rainbow wipes, so pretty!

I got mine from a WAHM on Hyenacart: http://hyenacart.com/PicassoTums/

She charges $1/wipe, the best price I found for that size. Her patterns are available through a link on that site, there are plenty of really cute choices in boy, girl, and gender neutral.

I bought GN ones and then liked them so much that I bought another batch once I had a boy. I think I have too many now, if that is possible.

I love love LOVE the custom wipes (sherpa and velour) I ordered from the WAHM who runs Eli's Wipe-E's on diaperswappers.com. Her username is katedanzer and she is AWESOME!

(Also, I just made a bunch of really basic flannel ones myself to round out my stash--if you can sew at all, simple flannel ones are super-easy to make. Just cut two squares of flannel to the desired size, turn them wrong-sides facing each other, sew around the edge leaving about a 1" gap in one corner, then pull the material right-side out through the gap and stitch the gap closed.)

Lucy's Hope Chest are my absolute favorite: http://tinyurl.com/nvnock I bought my first stash nearly six years ago and am now just getting my second batch. Sherpa and velour is the combo I like. They have held up better than cheaper ones from ebay.

Thank you all! I ended up ordering from this site: http://www.emibeans.com/ because they are closing and so the price was good. . . . Thanks so much for the suggestions!
