Cradle/swing recommendations?

Hi- I'm looking to purchase a cradle/swing for my baby and wanted to find out which particular swing you'd recommend. We borrowed a Fisher Price cradle/swing which our baby loves. The swing is almost 6 years old though and the mobile doesn't work and the swing seems to move too fast even in the slowest setting. For those of you with Fisher Price cradle/swings, is this a common problem? I read on the Babies R Us comments that it seems to be a common problem with the Fisher Price swings? I was hoping that it was because the swing wasn't working properly due to its age (that's why I'm not comfortable continuing to use it). Are Graco cradle swings better made?
