Announcing....

...the arrival (finally!) of our girls!

They were born via scheduled c-section yesterday, July 27, due to baby A being breech. They made it to 37w5d gestation - I felt so overdue because both boys were early on their own, so we really expected the girls to come much earlier on their own. But they had their own plans!

Evelyn Rose weighed 7lbs, 3oz and was 20" long.

Margot Elizabeth weighed 7lbs even and was 21" long.

Both are nursing well so far, and I'm finally out of bed and moving around (this was my first c-section).

Big, big brother is thrilled that the babies are here but doesn't like Margot's name.

Little big brother misses having mama at home. :(
