At work, missing baby

I guess I just need to whine. It’s a rough Monday. The weekend was way too short. I miss my baby. I’ve been back to work for 11 weeks now, so it’s not like this is new. But it sucks today.
My stomach is in knots, I feel like something is wrong. I feel like I’m about to burst into tears. I just want to go home and be with my baby.
I just need to hang tough for 3 hours (with commute time). But I don’t like it at all today.

Can you just go home? Call it an early day? Much easier said than done I know, but sometimes you have to just give yourself a break and start fresh tomorrow.

It's my first day back to work today and I imagine the first day is going to be easier than in the weeks to come.

I've already requested Wednesday off. I'm taking the day to hang with my baby. So I just need to be tough today. She's at home now with DH and my Mom, so I know she's having a blast. Then I'll have her all to myself Wed.

Good luck getting back into the swing. Some days are no problem. Other are just dumb.

Hang in there! I go back in 2 weeks and am absolutely dreading it. Good for you for taking a day off just to hang with your LO!

Awww, I miss my baby too. I'm glad I'll be seeing her in a couple hours :)

Maybe you could call her? I do that sometimes when DD is home with DH. I try not to call my DCP though ;)

I did call- and heard her giggling in the background. It helped to know she is OK, but still tough 'cause I'm not there being giggled at.

But- I'm sneaking out 10 mintues early and going to see her now! :waving4:
