The BO question made me think of this! My dd just turned 4 and I've recently noticed that she has light hair on her legs. I didn't think this happened until puberty, so it kind of freaked me out. I wasn't sure if I needed to get her checked for a hormone imbalance....

TIA!

DS got light blondish hair on his legs around age 4-4.5. He was happy and decided it was a sign he was growing up because he had "leg hair like daddy"

(eta: just agreeing w/ everyone else that it is normal :) ) Pubic or armpit hair on a 4 year old would most likely warrant discussion with a doc.

You mean "peach fuzz"? Yeah, that's normal for both girls and boys. DS is 5 and has it too.

Yes it's normal. My DS is super fuzzy and DD has a little bit of fuzz. :)

DD has leg hair. I wouldn't worry about it.

Um, yeah. My sister had dark hair on her legs when she was about 6 & up.

Totally normal. It is probably more noticeable right now due to wearing shorts and having a bit of a tan (at least this is the case with my DD). I just checked my DS (10.5 months) and he also has very fine, light hair on his legs.
