I recently had a minor dental surgery and picked up my prescription. Tonight I would definitely like to take one to able sleep easier BUT I just took a home pregnancy test and it was positive! Any of ya'll know the rules on this one? Dr offices are unfortunately closed by now. Thanks!!

Do you have a 24 hour pharmacy in your area? Even if you bought it somewhere else they should be able to answer your question. Or how about your insurance? Do they have a nurse line? I always forget about ours for myself and DH, but use the pediatrician's after hours when ever I need it.

:yay: congrats by the way!

congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it would be frowned upon by my OB office. Would tylenol be enough?

Pharmacist checking in--- I wouldn't recommend the Lortab. There is just simply too much important things happening with a developing fetus at this time to justify the risk. Those first couple of weeks are crutial to organ, limb and brain development. Even meds that are okay in later pregnancy, I really don't recommend unless absolutely necessary at this point in a pregnancy. I would be more comfortable with just plain Tylenol.

Thank you!! I'll just go to bed early without meds because I don't want to lose this one too!

Thanks! It's quite a surprise as we "thought" we'd wait a bit longer. It will seem a bit more certain when we finally get past 14 wks.... I'm sure I'll have lots more questions for everyone :)
