Been eyeing the quick-set style pools at Target on clearance... they seem tempting, but was wondering if anyone has advice or experiences to share (pro or con)?
Here are a few that I've been eyeing:

I bought one last year on clearance for 75% off for $75. It's like the first one you have posted, but it's 15x42. Quite honestly, we love it! Way more than I thought I would. It wasn't hard to put together and the size is great for us. My 11yo and her friends like it since they can easily play games in it. My 3yo and 5yo like it since it's not too big for them. Even my DH who was totally against it when I bought it keeps saying what a great buy it was. The kids will go in and out of it multiple times a day when the weather is nice. There was a little bit of a learning curve learning how to take care of it, but not hard at all. The filter has to be cleaned a lot since I don't think it can handle much, but that's easy, too. It could be just how much we use it. This has got me thinking about putting in a "real" above ground pool in a few years. I was adamantly against that before, but now I think we'll do it. HTH!

Check your local zoning. Most towns require a fence or safety cover, even for these temporary pools (which you should do anyway, but many people don't).
