I am pretty sure if you apply online they give you a temporary card number to use until you get your real one in the mail.

I normally shop in-store whenever they send me a 20 or 30% off coupon to use w/ my Kohls charge card. And I try to only buy what is already clearanced, have gotten some great deals that way! I've never shopped online, but after checking that kohlsbargain site, I may have to! Can you return in store if something from online doesn't fit?

I've returned some things that didn't fit and/or DH didn't like. I just brought in the item with the SH. receipt and never had a problem - just the long wait on line.

Yes, you can return items to the store for whatever reason you like. You don't even need your receipt, as long as you purchased it with your kohl's card, just show that and they can look it up. Also, no time limit on returns, although some times if it's been a long time the item is no longer in their system, and if you don't have a receipt to show what you paid, they will usually pick a similar item off the shelf and give you that amount for credit. Kohl's is the best store ever!

If you have a Kohls Card, shipping is always free (or so I have discovered).
