My BFF is having her baby!

She lives about an hour away and I'll be heading out in a few hours with the girls to stay for a few days. (well, we'll be staying with my parents). Any little and inexpensive things I could pick up to take to the hospital? I already have some big and pricey gifts but I was thinking taking a magazine, some lip balm....anything else nice for the next couple days in the hospital? (something I could pick up at Target?)

I'd sneak her in some snacks. Otherwise I wouldn't really take much b/c it will just be stuff they have to lug out with them, which can be annoying.

:yeahthat: In all seriousness, the gift I enjoyed the most while in the hospital was a simple bag of gourmet cereal/granola bars my mom brought. LOVED them after the 1 a.m., 3 a.m. feedings etc.

Some chocolates would have been nice too. :wink2:

When I had my first, my brother sent me a basket of Burt's Bees products. I remember when I could finally take a shower how great that scrubby peppermint soap felt. I loved it! I agree about the snacks too...and maybe magazines.
