how to search for a blog

I am feeling pretty dumb, but can someone tell me how to search for a blog? Meaning I would like to find a few blogs on healthyeating/cooking (I am always looking for more recipes) and I have no idea how to find them!!!

do you have google reader?

If so you can look under the browse tab for recommendations by category. Otherwise when I'm feeling curious I just do google search (or image search) for blog+keyword. I've found some very interesting blogs this way. Then once you find a blog you like, check their favorites list on the sidebar if they have one. That way you'll find similar blogs quite easily.

Also, if you do a google search you can choose to search JUST blogs. To do it you would type your search phrase and then across the top of the page there is a "more" drop-down button select 'blogs' and your search results will only be blogs.
