Delta Venetian Sleigh Crib

The 8th version of Baby Bargains gives Delta an F rating, and recommends NOT buying a Delta due to past safety problems (major recall due to drop sides, lead paint, and defective slats). The problem is I have my heart set on the Delta Venetian Sleigh Crib. It doesn't have a drop side, and obviously the lead paint and defective slats problems had to be fixed. Am I crazy to still be considering a crib Baby Bargains says "don't buy!"?

I checked out this crib at BRU today and it seems like a good choice to me.

I think that these days its going to be difficult to find a manufacturer at that price point that hasn't had a recent recall for at least one of those things. I don't really think the book is a begin all and end all of baby stuff. Sure they have a good knowledge but sometime you have to think for yourself.
