Has anyone been to the Reuben H Fleet kids floor in San Diego with four year olds/especially girls? I haven't been there since I was a kid and just recently heard they revamped it and it almost sounds like it is modeled after the old children's museum? or a science museum?

Is it worth the money? How long will a four year old want to stay?

Thanks,
LJLauren

I took my 2 yr old DD during a free Tuesday and it was a madhouse, but she enjoyed it. I think the area you're referring to as the "kids floor" is the one upstairs- I believe it's called "Kidville" or something along those lines. It actually reminds me of one of those indoor play areas with different themed rooms- they limit it to kids 5 and under, which is nice. The entire museum was fun for her, and I think would be even more enjoyable for a 4 year old who can do more of the interactive exhibits. But if I was comparing it to the Children's Museum downtown, I would definitely pick the Children's Museum over the Fleet any day.
