Hi! We are due with our first this fall and my mom has decided that she would like to get a crib for her house. She's looking for something simple - probably white or dark wood - that it's inexpensive but of decent quality. Specifically, she wants to make sure that the adjustment height platform uses spring mattress supports, NOT particle board. It would be easiest if she could find it at Target, Walmart or Babies-R-Us.

Has anyone purchased something similar recently?

Thanks for your help!

I've been looking at the Lollipop Crib at Buy Buy Baby (albeebaby.com also has it). It is $330 at BBB, comes in white and a dark wood, and is a simple, low-profile crib. It is made my AP Industries. I do not know about the mattress support though. Here is the link for the crib at albeebaby
