Can a 6 month old sleep in a Beco?

I know it doesn't have a hood, like the Ergo. I'm wondering if DS could sleep in it, without me having to hold his head. Is the head support of the Beco enough, or is the hood of the Ergo better?

The Beco does have a hood. My 9 mo DD sleeps in her Beco. Also, IIRC, the Ergo has a much lower back so is more dependent on the hood for head support.

What!? It has a hood? Sweet! I was on the fence, but now the decision is easier. I didn't see any mention of a hood on the website, but now that I am checking again, I see it. It's inside the head rest, right?

The hood folds up and goes into a pouch on the waist or we usually just leave it hanging on the carrier.
