And is kid friendly to put up/down by themselves. DD is 6 1/2. I've only seen non-collapsible ones IRL. TIA!

:waving4:Update: I bought the Disney Princess collapsible umbrella from Target, because DD fell in love with the character handle. It broke within the first 3 tries of getting it to stay up. Off to return it, but still on the hunt if anyone has a rec.

I have a Totes umbrella that I think I got at Kohl's a few years ago. It goes both up and down at the push of a button! (Doesn't wrap itself up at the end, but that's about all it doesn't do!)
It would be a bit too big for a backpack, but I wonder if the technology has made it into smaller-sized umbrellas yet?
