Anyone here have any recommendations for a mini crib? Has anyone used the DaVinci Alpha Mini Rocking Crib? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00186S9X0/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_item

Right now DD is in a bassinet we borrowed, but is about to outgrow it. I'd like to keep her in our bedroom for now, but we don't have room to fit a regular size crib in there.

Also, if you used a mini crib, what mattress and bedding did you use?

My baby isn't born yet, but we bought the DaVinci Emily and I really love it. It's such a pretty crib when set up, and fits perfectly in the corner of our bedroom. We bought the DaVinci Crescent 5" mattress to go with it, and standard portacrib sheets. No bedding set (we'll use a breathable bumper).

We used: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3245392 (in white) for 2 of my kids. I LOVED it! Wish I had used this from the get go with my first. They can fit in it for a long time - my daughter slept in it until nearly 2 (grandmom's house). It folds flat and can under the bed for storage or if you need to take it down for some reason. It also goes through doors without taking it down - HUGE!! You do need to buy a thicker mattress though. The one it comes with is horrible.

I know you haven't used it yet Tarheels, but does the DaVinci Crescent mattress look like it's okay quality? I've read mixed reviews. But there doesn't seem to be much of a choice for mini cribs. Has anyone else used it? What mattress did you use, OCMom?
