Do you recommend this book for researching your Disney vacation? If so, what is helpful and if not, is there anything else you recommend?

I liked the Unofficial Guide to WDW.

Billy loves the Unofficial Guide to WDW for Kids...he loved reading it before we left and used it to figure out what rides and restaurants he wanted to try.

Definitely Unofficial is my favorite, but I also like The Complete Walt Disney World by Julie and Mike Neal.

Does anyone know if theres a big difference between the 2008, 09, 10, Unofficial Guides? The 2010 just came out, just wondering if I should spend the few extra $$ to get the newest edition.

yes- spend the extra $ for the newest addition- there are LOTS of changes every year and even from print time to distribution you will find some info is outdated, so get the newest book you can. Just in the last year they'e changed so much- new hotels open, ADR policies change, dining plans change. And for the most up to date info check out disboards.com.
