Lands' End Diaper Bags - Lower Quality Materials?

Someone recently posted that a new LE Little Tripper in pink (http://www.windsorpeak.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=334466) used worse quality materials than an older blue model.

I was planning to buy the LE Little Tripper (http://www.landsend.com/pp/LittleTripperDiaperBag~89159_-1.html?bcc=y&action=order_more&sku_0=::ADB&CM_MERCH=SRCH_00001&origin=search) and LE Do-It-All (http://www.landsend.com/pp/DoItAllDiaperBag~109422_-1.html?bcc=y&action=order_more&sku_0=::ADB&CM_MERCH=SRCH_00001&origin=search) in black (monogrammed). Has anyone noticed lower quality materials for recently purchased black LT and DIA bags vs. older versions?

Was wondering if this is a material quality issue for all LE diaper bags now or if it's just a problem with the pink.

I purchased the new LE diaper backpack and it is definitely not the LE quality I was used to. I've owned older versions of the Little Tripper, DIA and backpack and wish I still had them.

The new material is thinner and rougher. I don't think it will hold up as well at all.

Which color did you buy? I'm guessing this may be an issue with all colors but was hoping the black might be a thicker, better quality material.

I'm sure that's wishful thinking on my part!

I have the light blue backpack.

So I had a friend look at both bags. She doesn't have either. She didn't feel there was a big quality difference to them.
