I'm thinking of giving a $50 gift card to Itunes and a "playlist" of songs that revolved around 50, getting older etc.

I'll also maybe include some songs that were popular in 1959.

Any suggestions? Also where is the best place to do a search on song titles? Is it Itunes or something else.

I've been listening to kids music for too long that I'm totally out of touch! TIA!

Any other ideas on where to find songs that mention OLD, Over the Hill etc?

ummm.. you might consider creating playlist of music that the person grew up listening to (not necessarily the songs that were popular at birth). music of late 60s to mid 70s would create a great list!

I'm 52. My favorites would be Bobby Sherman songs and David Cassidy songs. Those were in my middle school years. Disco songs too might be good. I'd suggest you get songs from her middle school and high school years as those are the ones she would know and would have loved.

What a great idea! I have a friend that is 50 next year and I have been thinking of what I could do.

I also meant to tell you to look at the songs from her middle school and high school years as that is what she most likely listened to and loved.
