Posted a message (http://www.windsorpeak.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=334969) earlier asking for feedback regarding whether to buy 1) an SLR camera with HD video or 2) a separate camera and HD camcorder. Would still appreciate any additional feedback on that post, but have another related question:

If we decide to purchase an SLR camera with HD video, which of these do you prefer and why?

Canon Rebel T1i (http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=139&modelid=18385)
Nikon D5000 (http://www.nikonusa.com/Find-Your-Nikon/Product/Digital-SLR/25452/D5000.html)

We are looking for a camera that offers excellent image quality as well as great HD video. Size, ease of use, and price are also important.

Would also appreciate suggestions for other SLR cameras with HD video and advantages/disadvantages compared to the two I listed.

Thanks!

I don't personally have any experience with either camera... but I have found this website and his reviews very helpful in the past...

He seems to have reviews, specs, comparisons and recommendations on the cameras you asked about...

We (well, DH uses it 99% of the time) have the Rebel t1i and we love it. It takes gorgeous photos and super high quality video--we use it much more than we even thought we would initially. I don't know much about the Nikon since DH did all the research for our purchase.
