What do you do when...

...your car does not have a place to tether when car seat is FF?? I'm still RF my DS and will be as long as possible, but DH took my '98 4runner into the Toyota dealership today to get some things checked out before winter. I told him to ask them about putting in a tether in the trunk area so when we are ready to flip the car seat, it will be there. They said they didn't know if it could be done. Is this true? I thought I read somewhere that they could just install one. Am I wrong?

I would go back and ask about it again... they do have the parts (it may be called a tether bracket, or tether plate), my service dept. needed to look at it to know where they go (which part was appropriate) - hopefully Jools will catch this thread with her LATCH manual handy and clue you in.
