Does anyone have suggestions of what to use for containing the small pieces to toy sets? For example, we have an Imaginext castle set and I'd like to put all the knights, cannons, etc. in a bag. We have a lot of these types of sets. We've been using plastic Ziploc bags, but I'd like something safer and environmentally friendly. Something that has a drawstring or zipper would be great, about the size of a gallon Ziploc. I prefer not to use small boxes/plastic containers b/c I'd like the bag to fit in the toy if that makes any sense.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I use mesh lingerie bags I get at the dollar store- they come either with zippers or drawstrings. HTH.

:yeahthat:I love those things! I keep a bunch around for storing stuff-- very useful in the car. One's got diapers, one has sand toys, etc. They're great because you can see what's in them. And they're pretty small. I've bought the green ones that are called something like "Mom's Helper." :)

I actually found a 4 pack of mesh bags at the dollar store - which I THINK we're called "tidy totes" or something similar?? specifically made for toys, kids stuff. they were a light green mesh, and I probably bought 10 packs of them (40 bags). great for lego's, toy parts, etc.... and have a drawstring. Not a choking hazzard like plastic would be! LOVE them! They were in the aisle with household stuff.

Oh here they are - found a picture. MOST of our dollar stores sold them in a 4 pack!
