Can't find the "Colgate Classica I" for $100

In the most recent edition of Baby Bargains, the "Colgate Classica I" foam mattress is listed as the best mattress to get and for the low price of $100.

I can't find this mattress anywhere for less than $149. Anyone finding this for $100?

Is it way better thant he $36 crib mattresses that Walmart is now selling??

I agree that the most of the prices online are significantly more than $100 but I was able to find it at babycatalog.com for $107.10, with free shipping. Use the code BCSV10 for 10% off the listed price of $119.

My mattress arrived within 2 business days.

There are 2 versions of the Classica I out now. One is $119 and the other is $149. Here is an thread which goes through and explains the differences.

The OFFICIAL word from Colgate
I called them this morning and asked the difference between the vinyl and the nylon cover and this is what I was told:

Vinyl - plastic. WATERPROOF. Their "standard" mattress they've been making for years. The rep's choice (above the Classica II and double sided).

Nylon - no plastic. Water-RESISTANT (not waterproof). Made for those concerned about plastic around babies. Made in response to concerns about phthalates (which aren't in the vinyl version, but still).

I'm getting the Vinyl. Even if I use a waterproof mattress cover, I'd rather have a "proof" than "resistant" covering...
