We need a nightlight for our daughters room but most that I have found have either been green light or a little bulb that is super bright. I am hoping to find a VERY soft glow of barely any light. Any recommendations??

We have a Tyke Light. It's blue light and there are two brightness settings. http://www.getmobi.com/tykelight_glomate.php We've had it for 2+ years and no problems with the battery charging or similar.

We had the same problem finding a not-to-bright nightlight with no luck. So what we do is buy the short fat "Christmas Light" light bulbs with the fat base (not the tiny string light type bulbs) that are a very small wattage (I think 4 watts). Although the wattage seems so low, they illuminate a mid size room perfectly. They sell them at our local grocery store and chain drug stores throughout the year along side the regular light bulbs. They fit in all the cute night lights you see but are generally too bright. Hope this helps.
