We are doing Mario and Luigi this year and I am just getting overalls, long sleeve t-shirts, and baseball caps. I figure that way they can wear the clothes again throughout the winter.

I know it isn't as easy as just buying the costume, but it might end up being cheaper.

:yeahthat: D was Luigi and E was Mario last year. I bought them plain overalls and a red and green shirt. I wish I could remember the site I found for making the hats, but I'm sure you could google it. It was super super easy-even for a non-sewing person like me. It just involved buying some fleece...
