My son keeps getting holes in his pants, and I just heard about iron-on patches. Anyone use these, and if so, where do you get them? This could really save me some money!

Thanks--

I get generic ones at G Street Fabrics (assume you can get at any fabric store). The character ones that DS likes I actually get from Amazon for $4.99 a piece (cheaper than a new pair of pants).

I find them at Michael's Crafts, Joann's, Meijers, Target. I like to get them from Michael's & JoAnn's because they have some neat designs.

Though I have found that my boys will continue to rip out the hole so it ends up going beyond the edge of the patch. I have no idea how they do this. So to help solve this problem if I have time I will run a quick stitch around the hole after I patch it. I also think I cut my patches too small.

Thanks for reminding me I need to go buy some new patches.
