"Children who eat sweets and chocolate every day are more likely to be violent as adults, according to UK researchers."

I don't know anyone that could recall that they ate candy everyday. I'm sorry but delayed gratification doesn't just include candy. It can be applied to anything that a child is just given whenever he/she wants.

".....it's my bar of chocolate. Don't care how, I want it now!"
-Veruca Salt

"who do you think is to blame?... The mother and the father..."
-Oompa Lumpas

I think it's more than just the candy too.

I wonder if this is b/c all the sugar made the kids hyper which in turn made the parents more likely to hit/spank which in turn may have made the kids more prone to violence as adults . . .

What? MY KIDS ARE GOING TO BE AXE MURDERERS????

Keep the candy coming and no one gets hurt?

We like our sweets, we'll have to see how this plays out 50 years from now.

I wonder what kind of, "sweets" they studied. I'd like to see them do a study on how HFCS affects kids behavior...
