I am baking right now for DD's daycare at the University. They are having a bake sale this weekend. I am making 2 doz brownies and 2 doz cupcakes. here is my question:
The recipe says to bake at 325 for 30 minutes. But is that assuming it is in there all by itself? Cause right now I have TWO 9 x 13 of brownies and a doz cupcakes in the same oven. They are supposed to go for 30 and 45 mns respectively. But if I have more than one thing in the oven, does it need to go longer? As smart as I think I am I cannot figure out if this is an endothermic reaction, so the heat is actually being consumed by the stuff baking or if it is just an optimal environment and it doesn't matter how many other things are in there... Duh. (I feel dumb)
