I was headed to Target to pick up a craft organizer for markers/crayons/paper/glue/glitter/paper...all that good stuff that seems to get spread about and I ran across this http://www.overstock.com/Crafts-Sewing/Mackinac-Moon-Large-Chocolate-Deluxe-Organizer/3343015/product.html. Looks much more attractive then a big sterilite container, is portable if needed and (most importantly) looks like it will work well!
Oh and if you are a facebook fan..you get free shipping!

That looks really neat. I have a big drawer thing, but can't find a good place to keep it so that it's out of the way, but easy to get out for the kids. I really want to like it, but don't. Maybe I'll try this one instead.

I have: http://www.stacksandstacks.com/mobile-organizer-with-10-or-12-or-20-drawers

I like the concept of the drawer organizer but I don't like the fact that I will have another 'thing' to store or sitting in the playroom. Plus they are kinda spendy as compared to the totes. Could even get a couple of totes for different rooms/craft items and come in well under the rolling thingy.

I'm trying to think of where I'd store the tote though. It's still a thing to put somewhere.

My drawers were $10 at Salvation Army.

Wow! That's a great deal. I would be able to hang the tote in a closet (or put it on a low shelf in a closet) but that may not work for your configuration at home.

I hadn't thought of hanging it in a closet. Dumb question - how would you hang it up? Our mudroom is nearly done and that will open up the closet for other things.

We have a walk in closet on the first floor and the wall has hooks along it (high and low). Some are longer and I think that handle would work but I could always rig a little something (like a ribbon) through the handle to hang it by. If you don't have wall hooks, just tie a little ribbon/rope/string around the rod and clip a carabiner on it to attach to the handle. That is is you really want to hang it. If I didn't have the wall hooks I may set it on a closet shelf or the floor.
