Stainless or black dishwasher?

We purchased a new dishwasher last night. I ordered it with a stainless front, but I'm rethinking that now. The rest of our appliances are solid black. My original thought was that as we replaced the appliances I would switch over to stainless, but we're only replacing them as they stop working (they are all 7 years old except the refrigerator which is 8 years old.) My countertop appliances are a mix of stainless and black w/stainless. I have to decide by tomorrow if I'm going to switch to black.

Based on the pictures, I think black appliances would look much nicer with your cabinets than ss.
i also think you can mix ss and black. In my dream kitchen upgrade I would have a black dishwasher and fridge, but a ss and black stove.

I'm thinking black. Plus, sometimes those stainless steel appliances are a little harder to keep looking clean for some reason. They just seem to show water drip marks and fingerprints and stuff.

We have had both recently and I we were ordering a new one it would definitely be black. Stainless shows every smudge and drip. Plus I think the black one would match your kitchen better than stainless.

I think stainless goes with everything! I would do stainless and when it's time to replace the microwave, toaster, etc, go stainless!

We have a similar look to our cabinets and ss applianes. No issues with fingerprints. I recommend ss.

I think either would be fine. But I like our stainless steel dishwasher. You can mix SS and black together.

Stainless and try to get the kind that doesnt show fingerprints. It will be better for resale since most homeowners want stainless. We have the same color cabinets and stainless and it looks great.

SS, I think it looks better. It will look fine with your other black appl. and if you ever sell your home it's for selling. They would only need to replace two appl.

Black looks nice, but another vote for Stainless - better for resale!

Absolutely black. If everything else is black, it's gonna look weird to have one random stainless appliance.
